A Peek into Systeme.io Communities
I’ve already set up a demo Community to showcase its simplicity, though I anticipate it evolving into a more robust feature over time. One common question I expect is about creating paid subscriptions. While it’s not natively built for that, a few automations can make it work. It’s primarily designed for hosting your online community, whether open to the public or tailored for a specific course.
Navigating Systeme.io Community Interface
Let’s take a closer look at the interface. On the left, you’ll find different topics. The Overview on the top left houses tabs for Home, Members, and Settings (the admin tab). To add a post, simply click on “ADD post” or “write something.”
Posting in Systeme.io Communities
When adding a post, include a cover image, title (e.g., “example post”), choose a topic (e.g., affiliate programs and content), and add images and emojis if desired. Click “add post,” and it’s done. Comments are easily managed by clicking on the post title.
Empowering Courses with Systeme.io Communities
What sets this feature apart is the Communities tab placed conveniently next to the Courses tab. If users need help within an online course, instead of navigating to Facebook, they can seamlessly switch to Communities and seek assistance directly.
Unravelling Systeme.io Community Functionality
While the platform is straightforward, some aspects are still being figured out, such as notifications and the absence of a dedicated app. The subscription feature is also a work in progress. Now, let’s explore adding members and delve into the step-by-step process of creating a community.
Adding Members and Exploring Systeme.io Community Settings
In the Settings, you can customize the community’s name, cover image, and visibility. Whether public or private, the choice is yours. If it’s public, anyone can see it. Save the settings, and your demo account is now visible in the communities tab.
Creating and Managing Systeme.io Communities
Now, let’s create a new community. Head to the product and sales tab, click on communities, and either view, play with settings, or remove. Adding a cover image and selecting access preferences adds a personal touch to your community.
Crafting Your Systeme.io Community
To start, consider the different topics you’ll cover. Create your first topic, plan the content, and add more topics as needed. Adding a post is a breeze upload an image, create a title (e.g., “first competition for 2023”), choose a topic (e.g., competitions), and share your content.
Customizing and Growing Your Systeme.io Community
Now, let’s upload a cover image, customize settings, and explore the community. It’s a blank canvas waiting for your topics and posts. Inviting members is a simple process, and automated emails streamline the onboarding process.
Managing Access and Notifications in Your Systeme.io Community
Receive notifications for community activities, though the absence of a dedicated app may require checking within the platform or emails. The email notification Systeme might be overwhelming for large communities, so future improvements in this area are eagerly awaited.
Balancing Access in Systeme.io Communities
Providing free access is manageable include a link in your courses for private communities or share the link for public access. In the future, integration with order forms for subscription-based access could enhance the platform’s functionality.
